MEET CAROLYN GRIECO
I became interested in cooking at a very young age…..inspired by my Mom throwing things together to feed six children, as well as my early encounter with the Easy-Bake Oven! In 1988 I began working at a local farm stand where I was taught traditional methods of pie-baking. I was hooked and soon made the decision to go to Culinary School, graduating from Newbury College in Brookline in 1991. Since graduation I have had wonderful opportunities including restaurant cooking, working as a private chef, catering, teaching cooking classes, operating a corporate café, and finally starting up my own country-style bakery.
All of these experiences have led to my current cooking style……working with local, seasonal foods to create simple fresh flavors. Since 2001 Mann Orchards has been home for me, sharing my passion for food with a “farm to table” approach and proudly offering the delicious fruits and vegetables each season brings.
As we move forward here at Mann’s keep your eyes open for new things…..whether it’s prepared savory foods or old-fashioned baked goods, something’s always cookin’ as we continue to celebrate the New England seasons together with you. Enjoy!
