Dedication to the community has always been a Mann Orchards mind set. Mann Orchards is proud to make the environment and Methuen a little greener with our solar project. We hope to conserve energy while still producing fresh, local, and handmade products for our customers.
The sun helps grow our apples and now the sun will help produce our homemade apple pie!
There have been a lot of changes to our growing Solar Field in the past week.
The skeletons of the 780 panels are truly taking shape. The commonly known blue-black panels will be secured to these frames, facing south at a 30 degree angle.
The converters are also getting a new house to keep them out of the elements.
